Madrone Studios is a full-service creative agency specializing in creating immersive experiences through the marriage of light, visuals, sound and cutting-edge/emerging technology. Using new media, video production, immersive projection and interactive technologies to create memorable experiences.


SFPublicCanvas was a multimedia vertical dance collaboration produced by Madrone Studios, BANDALOOP, and Illuminate. The project was a conversation based in art and technology, creating an open source digital media "canvas" that was integrated with vertical dance and storytelling. Projection mapped videos onto the exterior of a multi-story building responded to and were triggered in real-time by the vertical dancers' movements.
